Soda Firing with Dan Hill

This "ship" is actually a teapot. I'm not sure I want to serve tea in it, but it was lots of fun to make.
I attended a weekend Soda Fire workshop given by Dan Hill in Wilno Ontario. These wine coolers and bowls are examples of the textural effect that soda has on pottery.

Even Scrubbies can look good!

Lots of texture. Trays vary in length from 22 cm to 40 cm.

I used a real leaf to create this serving tray. Small leaves are about 21 cm x 26 cm; large are about 30 cm x 32 cm

Great for anything that needs a toothpick.

The Ultimate T.V. Bowl

This bowl fits your hand. Fill it will soup, stew chili or a stir fry, then relax in front of the T.V. The rim will catch the spills.
